Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – On Wednesday, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense announced the tragic incident of a fighter jet crash in the training area of King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait. The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, stated, “At 14:28 on Wednesday afternoon, one of the Royal Saudi Air Force’s fighter jets, an F-15SA, crashed during a training mission in the training area of King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait.” This information was reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Brigadier General Al-Maliki confirmed that the crew of the aircraft had tragically lost their lives in the crash. He further added that an investigative committee has been immediately formed to ascertain the precise causes and circumstances surrounding the unfortunate incident.
