Doha, Qatar – On Thursday, the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, conveyed a message of condolence and sympathy to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the demise of Sheikh Saied bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Representative of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
The Qatari Amiri Diwan released a statement on its official Twitter account, stating, “His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, sent a message of condolences to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, on the passing of His Highness Sheikh Saied bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Representative of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi.”
At the same time, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, the Deputy Amir of Qatar, also sent a message of condolence to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the passing of Sheikh Saied bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as reported by the Qatar News Agency (QNA).
Additionally, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, sent a message of condolence to the UAE President on the passing of Sheikh Saied bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Representative of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, according to QNA.
The UAE Presidency announced on Wednesday evening the passing of Sheikh Saied bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who served as the Representative of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi and was the brother of the UAE President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The expressions of condolences from the leadership of Qatar demonstrate the solidarity and strong bond between the two neighboring nations during this time of mourning.
